GENERAL CARE & MAINTENANCE
To maintain your hair extensions in the best possible condition, it is important that you follow advice and procedures below.

- Tie your hair / tapes in low plait / pony tail, before swimming, exercising or sleeping to minimize tangling.
- AVOID SALT WATER!
- Do not sleep with wet hair
- Excess swimming can cause stickiness of sealed area/bonds wear swimming cap
- Do not bleach or harshly dye extensions. If requiring maintenance to natural hair, try to only touch up roots.
- Use thermal protector or heat spray to keep extension soft and smooth. Mid lengths to ends only. Please ensure that excess heat or moisture is kept away from sealed/bonded areas
- AVOID products that contain ALCOHOL as it may cause tapes to peel and keratin to melt
- Do not back comb or pull on hair roots when brushing
- Use PUDDLE brush to avoid pulling extensions
- Come back for maintenance appointment to prevent hair matting. Average of 6-8 weeks
- Hair extension removal-must be done by professional
- After a period of time you may experience: That your hair extensions may thin. It is normal to have some extension hair loss or few beads to slip
- Trim regularly
- Initial discomfort may be experienced FIRST TWO WEEKS due to extensions being attached!!
- Shampoo and condition hair using SULPHATE FREE products. Small amount of conditioner to mid ends is allowable.
- Before washing your hair, gently run fingers through or brush your hair using your paddle brush only.
- Massage scalp under pre bonded extensions or below strips and then squeeze recommended shampoo through hair from root to ends. Do not massage or rub hair as this may cause matting.
- Rinse thoroughly using clean running water and squeeze gently to release excess water.
- After washing separate the individual pre bonded extensions/tapes before drying gently blow dry hair with towel, advised not use hair dryer all the time. It dries the hair which has no source of moisture.
