A Guide to Blondes
Two
decades till now it seems that everyone want blond hair. But thanks to a bottle of
hair colour, the blond revolution lives on the big screen, the
fashion runway and celebrity magazines. Or maybe you have even
hopped upon the blonde bus or were lucky enough to be born with
golden locks.
Blonde
hair has been the excitement as far back as the times of the Romans.
It has been a part of history that those who were born natural
blondes were of Nordic heritage. From the Roman times to the
Venetian times to the Renaissance era and even today with the bottled
bleach blondes of Hollywood land rock music, blond has been the
stars of the colour charts. Marilyn Monroe is most likely the
most famous blonde in all of history. But who would she be
without the bottle of peroxide? Would she still be as famous as
she was then and still is today?

While
it is true that blondes are the subject of thousands of dumb blonde
jokes and many girls think that blondes really do have more fun,
these have been around for ages and there is no end in sight to them
either.
Blondes
have their own language it seems. They can be brash or
innocent, dizzy or cool, raunchy or glamorous or even powerful or
fragile. Just look at all the James Bond movies. They are
all laced with beautiful blondes. The world of music has
hundreds of blondes from Carrie Underwood to Britney Spears to Gwen
Stefani. And it doesn’t stop there. There are blond
fashion models, male movie stars, sex icons and TV stars.
But
no blonde is more remembered than in fairytales. Cinderella,
Rapunzel and Alice in Wonderland are the most famous blondes we will
treasure forever.
